Many emerging fashion designers are following the philosophy, that you can be chic, sophisticated and green. That’s exactly what cmarchuska is all about; an eco-friendly clothing line started by Christine Marchuska. All her clothing is made with the highest quality sustainable recycled and organic fabrics. Her Sylvia dress, fits like a glove.
It’s made from 100% organic modal and silk, which feels luxuriously soft and drapes the body perfectly. The one strap across the shoulder adds an unexpected touch that’s eye-catching and conveniently placed to cover one’s bra strap. Her designs are innovative, fresh and simple – and I must admit I’d be tempted to wear them even if they weren’t green. Most of her dresses (including this one) have a versatile look that can be worn with a cardigan and flats to the office or with a pair of high heel stilettos and a fancy clutch bag, for a night out.
